Vice President of Zimbabwe officially launches TelOne's Telecoms Degree Programme

It is done! Vice President Honourable E. D Mnangagwa launched TelOne Center for Learning’s Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Telecommunications Engineering. A first of its kind in Zimbabwe and second in Africa, the degree is being offered in partnership with the National University of Science and Technology.

The new degree offering is a response to calls by the local industry to produce graduates who measure up to new technological demands and to cater for future technological requirements. TCFL is also evolving into a premier ICT and telecommunications training institute which recognizes that ICT engineers are making an impact globally thus this new degree programme will go a long way in enhancing Zimbabwe’s profile and attracting the much needed investment for research and development.

Speaking during the launch event Minister Mandiwanzira applauded TelOne and NUST for "collaborations and synergies of government entities that create value for the Government. Congratulations TelOne and NUST!”
