TelOne acknowledges its responsibility to contribute to national development and has taken strides to create employment opportunities in various regions. A number of programmes have therefore been developed targeting to create at least 7500 jobs by 2018.
In a bid to achieve this target, TelOne has launched an exciting recruitment project. An opportunity to be a brand ambassador or public Wi-Fi agent has arisen for those aged between 21 and 25 years who are looking to enhance their careers.
The recruitment drive is an ongoing process which has seen TelOne create 1500 jobs through the National Broadband Project (NBB) to date. This has contributed to direct empowerment of communities by providing opportunities for locals to earn a living through trenching in several areas where the NBB project is being implemented.
